Project Details
This UX case study focuses on redesigning the Booking.com mobile app to resolve navigation friction and information overload. By following a structured design process—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—the project addresses core user pain points such as complex filtering, disjointed property details, and cluttered search results.
Things I Did
"In this redesign, I executed an end-to-end UX/UI process starting with a deep dive into user frustrations regarding information architecture and complex filtering on Booking.com. I developed detailed user personas and empathy maps to define core pain points, which directly informed my transition from low-fidelity wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping. By restructuring the navigation and search flow, I optimized the filter interface and property details pages to reduce cognitive load. The final result is a modern, minimalist interface designed to balance the platform’s extensive data with a more intuitive, user-centric booking conversion path."
